How to mconnect MQA Tidal 24 bit 96 khz?

Hi

Am I doing something wrong or is simply that Volumio does not support it ?

I’m using mconnect to stream to Volumio upnp render but I’m not getting the hi res stream.

Mconnect supports MQA 24 bit 96khz trough software but in volumio I only see 24 bit 48khz. Is this a Volumio limitation or a problem in mconnect?

By passing from 96 to 48 is there a significant impact in audio quality?

Has anyone successfully got a way to stream hi res stream trough upnp?

Don’t know about upnp, but native Tidal can reach 96

Native tidal is not worth it, out of consideration.

Check the settings for tidal in mconnect to be sure you are requesting the full Unraveling. I have no problem with Qobuz, mconnect and Volumio all the way up to 192.
