Hi Guys any person try control two RPI AMP as L and R mono block .
I intend upgrade my B&O CX100 with two HIFI berry AMP each on Left and Right speaker . for result of Dual mono amp to play stereo .
any person have this experience .
Have to ask why?
- You can’t bridge the RPI AMP, as they already use a bridged design internally
- You won’t get any power advantage
- You won’t get a better sound stage, prob. worse as you need to split L + R (mechanical or via the ALSA driver)
Normally Mono blocks are used to avoid interference between L + R, reduce length of speaker cables and improve the sound stage.
