Hi from NL,
Got a NUC with an optical out (mini Toslink) connected to NAD C328. My experience so far:
The Good:
- works great
- easy to use
- great web radio selection
- open source
What could be improved:
- very old base distro (Debian Jessie) so no support for my built in wifi (using an old USB wifi thingy I had laying around anyway now)
- Albums with different artist show up as different albums
- had to unmute spdif myself with Alsamixer (not a big deal once you know this needs to be done)
- could use a way to expose a smb or NFS share so I can easily dump files on the disk. (maybe this is already a feature that I’ve so far missed)
All in all, kudos. I’ll be using this as my music player now.
