Hi I’m John from Los Angeles.
I just completed building a Raspberry Pi with 7" touch screen and Hifiberry Digi board. Finished setup and installation of Volumio and I LOVE it. I am a big time Apple guy with all of the Apple Ecosystem, but the ease of use and convenience of RasPi with Volumio is without peer and an outstanding addition to my ecosystem. I am not very adept at Linux, but I have some ideas to improve the aesthetics of the device with a new case design idea (inspired by the Nativaudio Vita).

I look forward to my next project, rehabilitating an old neglected AppleTV Gen 1 by installing Volumio on it. Hope to make it a streamer/DLNA server/music server to supplement my Synology NAS. I have a 500GB SSD I hope to swap into the AppleTV. I found that I really like the simple elegance of the WebUI, and will likely not hook up the AppleTV to a monitor.
I will update as the AppleTV project progresses.
