Help w/ the Pi touchscreen

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have a Pi 3 B set up with a HiFiBerry Amp2 and it works well via a computer browser but I can’t get it functioning via the Rasperry Touchscreen connected solely with a ribbon cable. Am I missing something.

It boots fine but once the GUI starts all I see is a grey screen with a functioning mouse pointer.

I’m newish to Linux but have had no problems setting up freenas and proxmox. Thanks!

You need to install the touch display plugin volumio-plugins-collection-t6251.html

Thanks. I’ve tried installing that plugin and it stops at asking for a keyboard layout. I can’t enter any value at that point.
