I have been using Volumio for 1 year. It is installed on a micro PC with internal storage.
Overall I like to listen to my music as if I were listening to a thematic webradio : rock, jazz, electro, folk, hip-hop, r&b, reggae or other depending on my mood.
Volumio is exactly what I was looking for :
- browse my media library arranged by genre directly on the hard disk ;
- send large playlists directly from a directory ;
- control playback from my smartphone.
