I have been a very long time music lover and have had a number of decent audio systems, but it was not till about 10 years ago that I stepped into the audiophile level of audio components and thusly learned more about what goes into producing quality recordings and have been enjoying music ever so much more.
I found Volumio some time ago while looking for an inexpensive solution to play music outside by my pool via Apple’s AIrplay service. I had been playing with Raspberry Pi for sometime and have built a number of projects, and then discovered the world of I2S DACs.
Volumio is a great app and full featured and I hope to be able to contribute to it’s advancement.
