FisherPrice Radio

This is my first Volumio Project and might not be as clean as some of the other outstanding examples in here but based on the fact i have never seen this done before ever - i’m kinda proud of it.

Thanks to Volumio, Raspberry Pi and of course FisherPrice toys.

Final Product in use.

Excellent! I think Volumio should start working on a FisherPrice record player plugin for the turntable integration.

really funny

Pretty cool project, think we had one of those.

You just got internal speakers? What about all the other cables (USB) or not running it to a DAC haha? Guess plenty of room to stash a storage drive in there.

WoW, amazing idee, really love it!!!

Thanks
The USB cable is running into a 256GB M.2 drive so i can have some ‘onboard’ music for those days i have no network.
It has some cabling for the 7inch pihut touch display. i also needed to use a buck converter to deal with the different DC requirements, TDA7377 Pro stereo amplifier, 2 x 8ohm 3 watt low profile speakers.
i also had a ground loop issue so i put in a small isolator which solved the problem.

Since finishing, i am toying with seeing if i can get it battery powered
