Yep, I tried updating to the 3.758 beta, no change, I still get “alsa” error when I select Hifiberry Digi+ Pro as the DAC

Trying “HifiBerry Digi” gets the same “alsa” error message as using “HifiBerry Digi+ Pro”, although surprisingly using “Generic I2S DAC” works, no “alsa” error message - user “mickey mouse” noted on another thread that “Generic I2S DAC” is stored as hifiberry-dac in /boot/config.txt - go figure…

Hi same issue, nothing seems to help, tried everything. Also generic dac doesnt solve the issue, it doesnt show the erroe messages but still no sound. It used to work flawless

Raised a case to ask volumio for support, lets see

Raised a case with volumio but no feedback, after upgrading to version 3.761 all works again. So it must be a software issue.

during the night it upgraded to 3.762, now i have the same issue again, no alsa device

i have a lifetime subscription but it only brings me frustration. does anybody have an alternative that just works?

Also same issue, hifiberry dac+
No error message on generic i2c but no audio either. Multiple reinstalls, factory reset etc. nothing works.

Some resolution would be greatly appreciated

Ho lo stesso problema con minidsp shd studio. È deprimente che quelli di Volumio non riescano a darci un suggerimento. È un problema che ho sempre avuto ma con l’ultimo aggiornamento pare si peggiorato. Vorrà dire che abbandonerò Volumio anche se mi comporterà di prendere uno streamer nuovo. Minidp Shd ha Volumio di default

The same phenomenon occurred with my Raspberry Pi version3.832 of Volumio. My DAC is a HiFi Berry DiGi+ Pro, and the phenomenon stopped after I temporarily changed the DAC model settings to various other models and then changed it back.
