Have anyone tried to connect a external dac via coax to the volumio primo hifi edition and only use primo as a stream bridge?
Have the option to get a Mytek Liberty dac v1
Looking forward to hear if someone have tried primo with mytek or other external dacs and how the outcome is compare to the internal.
I use an Rega Dac-R with my Primo (V1) Hifi-edition connected over USB, in my case this works better soundwise together with my Rega Elicit MK4 amplifier.
Can’t complain about the built-in dac in the Primo V1, just that I prefer the sound from the Rega Dac-R (over both coaxial and USB connection).
