/etc/network/Interfaces Folder?

Hey guys,
Iv’e been messing around trying to install on a PI zero and it boots with the files I got from github,but no wifi is showing.
I see that I need to mess with the /etc/network/Interfaces folder,but I don’t see one on my SD card. What am I missing?

i’m using a Pi wifi adapter.

I got a PI Wifi, let me see how to get this work… Or to find an alternate way of configuring wi-fi…
