Error "Failed to decode http://<mediaurl>:<port>; got HTTP status 404 ...from minidlna

Hi,
I getting a strange Error accessing some few files (most 16000 files are ok) streamed from minidlna (1.3.0 on raspberry OS) only to Volumio, to foobar2000 and to Yamaha’s Musicast the file is played without any problems.
I tried renaming the file (even shorten the file- and directory name), moved it between different filesystems, rebuild minidlna’s database: still foobar2000 and Yamaha’s Musicast are playing it but volumio gets error 404.

:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: …I found a workaround: I moved the minidlna server to my volumio serving Raspberry Pi and plugged the harddrive directly:
DNLA remains the same:

  • <minidlna 1.2.1 on volumio plugin> to volumio does not play the file
  • <minidlna 1.2.1 on volumio plugin> to foobar2000 on Android does
  • <minidlna 1.2.1 on volumio plugin> to Musicast device does
    Local Musik Database now new:
  • volumio’s local music database from attached harddisk does :wink:
