EMU 0404 USB only supporting 44.1 Khz playback

I have Volumio up and running on a model B+ rpi with a EMU 0404 USB dac. Things play back well, but the only supported playback format is 44.1 Khz. If I jump up to any higher (or lower) format, pops and crackles with no music are the only result.

The 0404 can handle up to 192. So is there anything I can do to help get higher playback rates supported?

Hi, u can still use EMU as standalone DAC via hifiberry digi. 24/96 works without problems.
