Duplicate Cast Devices

Greetings!

I’m new to Volumio and have been getting familar with it since installing yesterday. I’m currently in the 15 day trial of Premium.

One observation is all the Cast Devices (all SONOS) are repeated twice or more in the device list. Curious if it’s a setting I need to fix or it’s a quirk with the Volumio app? I’m using Volumio ver. 3.611 installed to NUC.

Anyone else notice this?

I’m also disappointed to see that Volumio does not detect Bluesound or Eversolo DMP-A8 that I have but that’s another topic/limitation. I was using ROON ROCK which detects everything I have so was expecting a bit more here.

Hi, this duplication is by design and derives from the SONOS API we use.

Each SONOS endpoint has 2 indications: One for the device and one for the group it represents.
