I’d like to request an update to Volumio OS that would allow Roon to send DSD signals directly to Motivo for decoding and playback. Currently, Roon cannot deliver DSD as Direct DSD or DoP to Motivo—only PCM is supported—and this limits the full capability of both devices.
It would be great if Volumio OS could be updated to support native DSD or DoP playback from Roon, so that Motivo users can enjoy DSD in its original format.
Are you sure about this, you do not mention any dac endpoint device specifics (brand, model). Is it supported by Volumio as DSD direct, meaning the proper quirks in the usb audio driver?
Questions you can start answering yourself by giving a few more details about your setup.
Users come here for support, not to be told to troubleshoot everything themselves.
Clear guidance and expertise from the Volumio team would be much more appreciated than simply redirecting responsibility back to the user.

We absolutely need your info, so please supply at least a log (How to create a log) after booting with the DAC connected.
