Hi everyone,
first let me thank Michelangelo and all the contributors for such an awesome work.
I use Volumio 2.246 on a Raspberry pi 2B with an Hiffiberry DAC+. I use it exclusively as a DLNA player. The DLNA server is MinimServer on my Synology NAS, and I mostly use BubbleUPnP as my control point (sometimes Upplay on my linux box).
Everything was working extremely well on my older 2.x build (can’t remember which one exactly). Since I updated to 2.246, I noticed that the DLNA playlist on the volumio player was very slow to build. It takes roughly one second per song, sometimes longer, to appear on the playlist after being sent from the control point. A longish album could take as much as 30 seconds to fully appear in the playlist, and it sometimes fails to build the full playlist. This was not the case with the older build, with which it would take maybe 2-3 seconds max.
The delay is not caused by the control point as it is the same with BubbleUPnP and other controls points (Upplay for example). It is not caused by MinimServer either as if I send the playlist to another player (local player in BubbleUPnP), the playlist is filled almost instantly.
EDIT: when sending a playlist from the control point on my computer (Upplay) to a player on my phone (Bubble UPnP), the playlist populates instantly; thus confirming that Volumio is likely the source of the faulty behavior.
Does anyone has the same issue, and of so did you manage to solve it?
Best,
Antoine
