Im really enjoying Volumio and want to make some simple music player devices with a raspberry pi, which can play from volumio locally.
I want these to be button controlled so the player I use must be command line controlled.
I understand that the DLNA protocol is a way to do this.
How do I set this up on Volumio? Or is it set up by default on Volumio 3?
I have seen mentioned the MiniDNLA plugin but it’s not listed and it seems DNLA is mentioned in the Volumio settings - so I wondered if it should be working out of the box.
I also note that Volumio acts as an MPD server, so is that a way of allowing remote devices to play tracks from it locally? I have tried using MPC but the audio always seems to play on the Volumio server rather than the local device.
