i bought some of these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0897KGG59?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details her and some silicon wire https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KQ2NURG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details So i tried to put one of these on the wire 2.54 mm JST XH Male/Female Crimp Pins on but the wire is just a bit thick. would a 28 AWG 28 Gauge work on raspberry pi

I don’t know what exactly you want to do, but to connect gpio, why don’t you simply use preassembled Dupont wire?
