Device does not play selected track from Spotify then cycles through 2-3 seconds of songs I have never played

When I try to start a track in the spotify app and connect to one of my devices it skips the selected track and then starts playing only a few seconds of other random tracks. Eventually it will land on a track to play, however I don’t even know where it’s choosing the tracks from! and then when I try to pause it it will skip to the next track rather than pause and the only way I have been able to stop this is to power cycle the player.

I am able to start the track on another device with no issues, and then can group the devices with no issue.

The line where the issue begins is:
Dec 20 20:02:01 volumiolr volumio[1165]: [Vollibrespot] : Fetching autoplay context uri

I’m not sure if this is a volumio issue or spotify, any help would be wonderful! Thanks.

I’ve done a factory reset and so far it seems to be working again.

The issue started again, this time switching to the player then I hit pause within the spotify app. Spotify queue cleared, random song began playing. Then I hit pause in the volumio app which did actually work this time so the issue isn’t exactly the same.
