How many amps of continuous power, ie current, does the SMPS that comes with the latest version of the Primo streamer provide and what is the max number of amps current it provides. Also, what are the continuous and max current requirements of the latest version of Primo please ?

Thanks Wheaten. Will the Primo benefit from having a linear power supply with 5A output as opposed to one with 3A output, ie, would Primo always sound better with a linear power supply with a 5A output, versus one with a 3A output, irrespective of the brand of power supply ?
3A is enough for the power, changing to 5A won’t improve SQ.
However, changing form a switch PS to a LPS gained a lot of positive feedback, regarding improved SQ.
