Crackling when skipping manually / hard start of tracks

I recently wanted to stream music digitally from my hard disk and started looking into Volumio. Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten around to listening yet and am spending my time on some problems, some of which affect many users, as I can read, and which don’t seem to be easy to solve. In order to be able to use the program, these problems would have to be solved urgently I think.

Firstly, there is the crackling when you manually skip from track to track (and when you start the devices - I could live with the latter…)

Then you fall into the tracks without any pause when skipping manually or starting a musiclist, which means that there is an additional impulse due to the short attack time and you never really hear the music from the beginning.

I was wondering if it wouldn’t be a way to go if it was possible for the user to choose the option of a one or two second silence - only when manually skipping or when first starting a list - before the track - time in which those processes related to the click, whatever it is, could also be regulated. (Silence when skipping in the track should be reduced to a minimum accordingly).

I run Volumio on a Wyse 3040, stream from USB stick or Bandcamp, DAC is a Yelowtec Puc2 Line

Another problem is that switching the volume limit in the software mixer is always accompanied by switching to full volume inbetween switching from the old to the new value, which is absolutely dangerous for Your equipment and ears if you have music playing at the same time.

I would very much appreciate it if there was a solution to these questions. THANK YOU!
