How can i connect my Volumio to FTP Server to play music from it?
I found the solution to my problem here FTP connection for Volumio.
The problem is that I don’t have the /var/www/inc/player_lib.php and /var/www/sources.php files to edit. I don’t even have a /www folder in the /var directory. I have Volumio 3 installed. Could this be related? Where can I find these files?
yes, that old “solution” was based on volumio 1.55, which has been completely redesigned twice since then. You can’t get any usable info from that old thread.

There is currently no easy solution, without intrusive code change in the files located at: /volumio/app/plugins/system_controller/networkfs.
Which will break any future Volumio update.
I think the easy solution is to replace your FTP solution with CIFS or NFS.
