Cleanest way to add FIR convolving to all Volumio output?

There’s so many options for FIR filters. BruteFIR, jconvolver, folve, etc.

Has anyone found a setup that works consistently for applying FIR filters to all Volumio output?

Brutefir + alsa loopback plugin combination works just fine. The only downside - increased boot time (from 34 seconds to 74 seconds)

Jackd does not work on I2S DAC.

Did not test pipe option.
