Clean Library by hand (via SSH or similar)

I’m having a strange behaviour in my library and rescan isn’t doing what is supposed (clean and rebuild library: doesn’t clean).

How can I clean library by hand (SSH or other means), to make volumio new source update?

As far as I know /var/lib/mpd/tag_cache is your database.

You could SSH into volumio and delete the tag_cache file with

sudo rm /var/lib/mpd/tag_cache

Reboot your system

This seems to remove the database but not the source. so…
Goto sources and just click update.

Ive have just tried this on a test instalation of 3.569 and has the desired effect for me. All working again after the update.

Afterall I really had some duplicate songs on a temp folder in my usb drive! OMG!
