hi i run volumio as a VM under unraid server
i noticed there is a version 4 out but i cant seem to update it… mine says up to date…
i did ssh in and ran
volumio updater forceupdate
but still says i up to date…
do i have to redownload a new image? and i not sure to backup all my settings saves and then import it in new version?
or can i force this to update to version 4?
and volumio has no backup option so not sure how i save all my settings
for RPi and X86 a fresh install is required, there is no upgrade path from Volumio3 to Volumio4
oh ok and i found a plugin for backup configuration
i guess there is major changes that happened that cant be upgraded.
ill download and then restore i appreciate it… as i wasnt sure what was going on
@darmur ok i run into a problem
i downloaded and running the the new version
but i wanted to use plugins… my email and password wouldnt work… i reset the password… i try again but voluimo keeps saying either my password wrong or its blank… so i cant login to restore… is there some trick?
i got it to work after 5 times resetting password and entering same password…
so some kinda of connecting glitch
