Can't install Volumio on notebook?

Hi everyone,

So, I’ve just downloaded Volumio image for PC, burned it to a USB drive and successfully loaded it on a notebook.

However, I can’t find a way to install it on the HD? How am I supposed to proceed here?

I mean, I was expecting some sort of “write to disk” option, like it usually happens with popular Linux distros.

What am I missing here?

There should be an option there somewhere in “system settings” , Rafael. I don’t use it often on PC so don’t remember the details.

Edit: possibly if your notebook is a newish device, then there could be problems … please have a look at the Volumio X86/ Debian Buster debugging party (BETA) thread.

Under System settings there is an option to install on Disk, but as @chsims1 says check with them with knowledge first
