Recntly we have had a series of power cuts at home which resulted in the SD card in my Raspberry PI ZeroW becoming corrupt. I have had to re-image the card with the latest version of Volumio. I can’t get Spotify to work with the rebuild.
It has worked in the past
I have a premium account
confirmed my account works using the Kodi spotify plug-in
I am at a bit of a loss now. System is a RPi ZeroW built into a Cambridge Soundworks Wave radio.
Syptoms;
I can browse to Spotify
I see four folders in the browse window; My Playlists, Featured Playlists, What’s New and Genres & Moods
I can’t open the My Playlist Folder
I CAN open any of the other three playlist folders and add them to my queue but nothing will play.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the plugin to no effect
I can stream BBC radio services
I can playback from the internal storage.
I just have an issue with spotify. Spotify did work before I had to re-image my SD card now it doesn’t.
I am still very much a beginner any help or pointers much appreciated. I don’t know why I can’t get it to work.
Edit
I have read through previous posts which suggest logging onto Spotify using user name rather than email address - this doesn’t work for me either.
