I can’t manage to boot Volumio via an usb device on an i686 cpu. I downloaded the x86-64 version and tried booting on uefi (which did not work and wrote me that he was booting to volumio but nothing was happening) and efi (which told me that This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU). Have i done something wrong? Did i download the right version? Is this kernel adtually compatible???

Volumio is a 64-bits distro. x686 is 32 bit, so it will not work.
Ok and there are no like “modded” version to run on 32 bit cpu’s???
Or maybe an older version that was build to run on 32 bit cpu’s?
see this topic. If I am correct V2.9 is x86 based.

Im downloading volumio 2.9 right now and im gonna try after flashing it… I hope that it will work…
just keep in mind that this version is no longer supported.
