Well, I guess I’m going to cancel my MyVolumio subscription. Functionality that existed when I signed up is apparently no longer available and support doesn’t seem at all anxious to figure anything out. Nothing at all has changed in anything related to my network setup since I installed my player over three months ago. Then POOF, stuff no longer works.
I refuse to believe that I need to factory reset my installation. I’ve put a lot of work into setting up artist art for the myriad of artists that none of the metadata providers know about.
This is very disappointing…this was a really good user experience until a week and a half ago.
If support has any final suggestions I’m all ears.

We are currently investigating the root cause, but it has been challenging to pinpoint.
We’ve tried multiple times to replicate the problem, but the Play Here functionality is working properly on our end.

All,
Got an email from Davide this morning that there had been a change made and to try again. After clearing cookies for volumio.com and volumio.org and logging out and logging back in both on my player and remote devices/browsers I’m back in business with remote play via play.volumio.com.
Volumio team came through. Thank you folks.

It’s working for me now as well.
I guess I’m done with this, tried again and now Play here is grayed out. I’ve put way more time into trying to work with this than it’s worth.
Shame, I love the product for local use but remote use is a huge part of my use case and Volumio just isn’t doing it. The team should really stop advertising this as a feature because it’s what sucked me into a Premium subscription that isn’t reliably doing what’s advertised.
