Cannot view available plugins or installed plugins (html 511 cannot authenticate error)

Volumio Information

Volumio Version: 2.882
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4
DAC: Allo BOSS

Hello all.

I have two of these set up on my network, and I cannot see the list of available plugins to install. Is there something I need to do to make this visible again? it’s invisible on both systems.

Thanks!

Are you sure that your internet connection is fine?

Would you share some system logs please?

Preferable from a fresh reboot, with minimal steps to reproduce the problem

Here is the link to my system logs after rebooting and trying to view the plugins:
http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/o7tXyn5.html

One thing to note, I am seeing this pop up in the log when I try to view the list of plugins:

error: Cannot download Available plugins list: Error: got 511 response

Thanks!

is this a fresh install? normal it should load in your version i would try a re-install
your network is oke

this is a brand new install…

yeah… it seems to be okay all over the network… in that error message, are they talking about an HTTP 511 response?

it can sometimes that something goes wrong re-install will most of the time solve the issue
trying to fix it takes more time…

@sergio_101 are you already working on your install i think i found your problem…
can you set your system on static ip? and not the 192.168.211.1
but a 192.168.1.xx

OH… let me take a look… on this network, it’ll be a 192.168.40.xx

there is something or with your ip or with the dns… all other things are ok…
checked services they are all up and running… i hope that i can find some lead still searching

i just looked at it, and that 192.168.211.1 address is the address of the hotspot. The device is wired in, and has a correct local IP address… It can connect to the NAS and play all of the files there, too.

can you send me the fqdn or the IP of the services, so I can check if they’re being blocked somehow on this end?

Thanks!

they are fast enough and don’t ping out that is if you see above 5000ms

i would still advice the re-install i can’t find it in the log all seem running…

the status now is up and running a re-install should fix that.

This one seems like it might be the one having an issue… The first time, i got this:

Then, I tried to hit it with a browser, and I had to grant google permission…

I can try reinstalling, but this would be the fourth time I have reinstalled.

Should I be running this wifi, rather than wired in?

strange i didn’t have that in any of my installs…

This is what I get when I try to access http://plugins.volumio.org in the browser… does this sound correct?

Going to reinstall now.

that should not be needed… i never had it only for the youtube plugin… if you want to use your account.
if you re-install take a fresh download…

okay, i have reinstall half a dozen times, and I still cannot see the plugin list.

strange try wifi …or 3.xx version maybe that works… or set the network on normal
use no strange names and don’t change user nor passwords

so instead volumio-living-room use just one word like livingroom

i just ended up installing what i needed manually. It’s not that big of a deal. once a device is in place, i never mess with the plugins.

i’m on the 3.xx and had to install all by hand so i know the deal
