Cannot copy images to music folder

When I try to copy album art into a music folder using FileZilla, I always get a “Not Permitted” error message. What am I doing wrong?

The album art files were renamed to Cover.jpg.

You do understand that just throwing in one-liners, without any information, makes it impossible to support you?
All we know:

  • You’re running FileZilla on some computer
  • Permission denied

You did enable SSH?
You’re using the correct credentials?
You didn’t added custom credentials (which is not allowed) in the Raspberry Pi Imager?

It’s an x86 PC.

I can drag the image into the folder, but it doesn’t stay there.
But entire folders can be copied.

SSH is of course enabled and as I said, I can see the entire Volumio directory.

Again, you’re not giving any information to us where we can work with, or make an educated guess.

  • You’re running Filezilla on a x86
  • You’re trying to copy files to a folder, which folder?
  • Your files are on a NAS, USB Thumb,…?
  • You can copy folders. On linux Read and Write access are 2 different things.
