I’ve attempted multiple times with different iPhones, all attempts yield the same result: timeout after the wheel spins for a while ‘looking for devices’. Tested with both Wi-Fi and cable, all in the same network and subnet. mDNS is working in my Volumio box, I can resolve volumio.local, connect from any browser (including the phone browser) and tested with a bonjour browser the output is: _Volumio._tcp found and the UUID is displayed. The app store states that the "app is compatible with Volumio 2 and 3 so I guess the older version of my instance should not be a problem. I have reasons not to upgrade, before you ask. Hope someone can shed light on this issue.
