I have tried different SD cards and even usb drives but to no avail. All I get is a black screen. The only other things connected to the rpi is a dongle for my Logitech combined keyboard and mouse, a connection to the living room tv as a monitor and an Ethernet cable. I did find a thread on here from a few years ago which queried issues with this particular rpi but it appeared to be left unresolved. By the way, I am a noob, as this is my first rpi board and, if I can’t get Volumio working, it’ll be my last.
Thanks
Try pulling out the logitech dongle. I think it did something similar to me. Although with a different system, but it may be related.

it should work i got rpi4 4gb and use a Logitech USB Unifying Receiver without any problem.
what do you see on your black screen ? with what did you burn your image? ect give use some info
so we know what steps you made.
In case this refers to the TV you mentioned:
- Is the screen all black or do you see at least Volumio’s login prompt?
- Did you already install and enable the Touch Display plugin?
The dongle trick worked, although I did pull the thernet cable as well. I now have Volumio running on the rpi. Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply.
after booting you can revert it, it should work.
