Can microSD cards be swapped between systems?

If I have a working Volumio system (rPi + hifiberry) can I remove the SD card and put it in another rPi system and expect it to work? Assuming the rPi is the same version.

Yes—usually it works if it’s the same Pi model.

After boot, just verify:

• audio output/HiFiBerry setting
• network IP (may change)
• any USB device mappings
