do you think all this time we could of just tried the plugin rotation earlier and it would have solved it?
Haha, of course, but in the beginning I had the impression that you don’t have a problem with the touch misaligned to the display but inaccurate touch detection and therefore need the xinput calibration values applied somehow to correct that.
well either gvolt you were a huge help man. I learnt how to use putty, use commands, new terminologies and generally get to grips with learning how do what you showed through this process.

Never change a running system More seriously: If you remove
display_rotate=1
I would expect the Touch Display plugin to rotate not only touch but also the display with the caveat that the misalignment between them would reoccur.
