BlueTooth Connectivity Question

Hello,
I am a Volumio Premium subscriber. Running Volumio System Version: 3.546 on Raspberry PI 3B with HifiBerry DAC Plus and I2S DAC.

How can I setup my Volumio to receive music from my iPhone using Bluetooth. Bluetooth Input Playback is turned on. However, I don’t see my phone in Volumio or I don’t see Volumio device on my iPhone Bluetooth devices. Is there a trick to this?

Hi PC997,

  • Please upgrade to the latest stable version as you’re running a very old version. (latest is V3.819)
  • Enable “Bluetooth Input Playback”
  • Scan for new devices on your iPhone.

Your Volumio device should appear in the list

It won’t upgrade automatically. I will have to download V3.819 manually. I will let you know the outcome.

I guess you’ve installed peppy_meter?

If yes, disable the plugin and perform the update.
