Bluetooth sync for streaming video

Prerequisites

Volumio Information

Volumio Version: 3.804
Hardware: Raspberry PI4
DAC: Allo Bos

Debug Log

NO LOG

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Connect by PC via bluetooth to Volumio
  2. Start a video with youtube
  3. Music is out of sync

Additional Information

It seems due to Volumio buffering.
Having a buffering on Bluetooth seems superfluous to me anyway.
Is there any way to disable buffering on bluetooth?

Please test the same with Bookworm. Still an Alpha release, but the delay with Sync is about 0.2 Seconds. Same delay I have with NAD, JBL and Sony.

For Bookworm the complete BT part has been redesigned.

I have tested bluethoot with Bookworm 0,068 with Pixel 7 pro android 15, and Allo Boss on Raspberry 4.

And it works very well.

There is only one inconvenient thing, but unfortunately Android’s choice: at each new Bluetooth connection the system forces the deletion of the old one - for security reasons.

For the rest the connection is really stable and responsive and, it seems to me, it uses a better protocol for audio transmission.
