I have an X86 device, BlackView MP80 N95. The HotSpot works, allowing me to control Volumio, but the WiFi Client does not, requiring an Ethernet connection to work. Before I clobbered the original (non-Volumio) OS I the WiFi client was working. I don’t see any BIOS settings so I’m lookin for a plugin or hard to find settings.
Connect to ethernet, disable Hotspot, reboot and configure WiFi.
Seems you WL adapter doesn’t support both simultaneous (Hotspot and Wifi).
Most cases you do not need to reboot, disable hotspot, wait till the network screen refreshes, then you will see the scanned network names to choose from.
