Hi guys,
after having build our first DIY Symasym Dual Mono Amp (see pictures) we are looking for a quite high end DAC solution that is so sort DIY. So actually not a lot of soldering etc… a little more buying parts and putting them together. The DAC should be able to work with volumio for sure. We came across the Dario Sound Pi and aims at the dual mono version. No to put this idea in question we would like to ask the round what a quite high end DAC could be besides the Durio.

sehr schade, dass ich von dem Treffen erst jetzt erfahre, wäre gerne dabei gewesen 
Es scheint, wie auch beim Verstärker, am Ende immer der persönliche Eindruck zu entscheiden.
Ob nun TauDac, Piano oder IQaudIO, Qualität super, entscheidender Faktor ist persönliches Gefühl
Denke ich werde mit das Piano/Kali Bundle holen, 2.1 benötige ich nicht da ich nicht plane einen Subwoofer zu nutzen.
Würde dazu dann das THEL NT25HQ (2x5V) Netzteil nehmen
Vielleicht ergibt sich in Zukunft ja noch mal die Möglichkeit eines Probehörens…

I’d still push you towards the Piano2.1 as you have the opportunity to run it in dual mono mode, something that should be rewarding…
