BeagleBone Black with Volumio 2

Hello

I am new to Volumio and I wanted to install it on my BBB. I have searched the forums and can not find any recent posts on the Beaglebone Black. I found posts indicating that Volumio used to be supported by BBB but my guess is that the .img files were removed or simply they were not updated. Could someone tell me if im wasting my time looking for a way to install V2 on my BBB? If not, maybe point me in the right direction.

Straight answer: yes, it’s a waste of time.

To my knowledge, Volumio 2 was not officially released for BeagleBone Black. Even if you could get a hold of an old and/or experimental release, and you could get it to work, to what purpose? With performance comparable to an RPi 1B, it’s not going to be enjoyable.

To be honest sound quality of BBB is significant better compared to RP :wink: !
