BBC Radio streams

Does anyone know where the BBC has hidden the urls for BBC Radio 1, 2, 3, 4, 4xtra, 5 and 6. Alll have gone as of mid-day today :confounded:

Same here. Maybe best to move this to the main thread

Here is the page referred to in other threads for BBC URLs. If you want high definition you need to change the …/sbr_med/ … to …/sbr_high/.

BBC Radio Streams · GitHub

High definition is only available for UK listeners.

Thanks. Normal service has been resumed

The format I was using (non-UK) is as follows. No longer works
http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/simulcast/hls/nonuk/sbr_low/ak//bbc_6music.m3u8

This format from the github page now works, but it stutters horribly every few seconds
http://as-hls-ww-live.akamaized.net/pool_904/live/ww/bbc_6music/bbc_6music.isml/bbc_6music-audio%3D96000.norewind.m3u8

I am in the UK and using the same links. Stutters badly on all BBC radio channels

Mine stutters too!!

Me too!

Hi here’s a full list of the BBC radio stations for UK use at high quality that I got working. These haven’t stuttered like the Github list— however, Radio 5 and 6 music return errors. Hoping someone has a fix for 5 and 6.

And if you’re outside the UK, use the github URLs, but take out the ‘norewind’ part (thanks @domchocolate ). So format is like this:

http://as-hls-ww-live.akamaized.net/pool_904/live/ww/bbc_6music/bbc_6music.isml/bbc_6music-audio%3D96000.m3u8

No stuttering!

No stuttering using the second set of streams on the linked GitHub above marked:
‘# These provide better compatibility with some devices/software.’

Thanks! Works fine in The Netherlands
