BBC Radio 4 was streaming this morning - now gone - This was the link:

Any advice please

A useful resource for UK radio is the RadioFeeds website.

You can set up internet radio on Volumio using the feeds in there, and they are more stable in my experience (plus it can be used with stuff like Bower Media stations where the feed needs a user cookie normally).

I spoke too soon - the BBC stream for Radio 4

is working again this morning. Others for R2, R3 R4extra and local BBC stations also appear to have been restored

We are working on a permanent solution for BBC Radios. It’s going to take a while, but working on it :wink:

RPi4 - Version 3.703
Just keeping an old topic alive…The link for BBC Radio 3 under Web Radio/BBC Radios is still giving me BBC Radio 4. Occasionally I get Radio 3 (!) which I successfully saved as a favourite. The favourite continues to work correctly every time. This solution works for me but it is clearly not a satisfactory situation. I appreciate that this may not be a high priority, but is a long-term resolution being sought?
Interestingly when I do get the correcty BBC R3 it shows a different logo - The first is the one that gives Radio 4

We improved BBC Radio section following your feedbacks.

What has changed:

  • BBC Radio 4 and Radio 4 extra are now both available and working
  • BBC Radio 3 and 4 don’t get mixed anymore
  • BBC Radio 6 has been added
  • We ensure that all channels shown are actually active
  • Further BBC Radio channels are now added, including extras and international

Let us know how that works and if you would like to see further impros!

I had been enjoying BBC radio streams such as:

for the past couple of years. It seems that these streams were turned off several days ago. There has been some discussion that the BBC has introduced tighter regulation on what devices and apps are able to play BBC radio.

Is anyone aware what the options are now for receiving BBC radio on the Volumio platform?

There are no problems with the BBC and Volumio here in the UK.

The http://lstn.lv/ links have changed. bbc.m3u8 needs to be changed to bbcradio.m3u8
