Hi I have recently purchased an Audiophonics DigiPi AES for an extra player using volumio and Rasberry Pi 3B. I have also purchased a HifiBerry Digiplus pro on a Rasberry Pi 4. A word of advice for those wishing to purchase the Audiophonics.
The company recommends using the driver for HifiBerry Digiplus pro in order for it to work with Volumio. I have discovered that this driver will make audio play at high speed. For the Audiophonics card to work normally users must select the basic HifiBerry Digi driver. With this selected everything works just fine.I find this is the case with the Raberry Pi 3b but have not tested on the 4.
May i just say that this Audiophonics card is a clear step above in detail and dynamics compared to the Hifiberry Digiplus pro. Regards George
