I’m running the asus tinker board with a 7" touch screen. I’m running the latest version of Volumio.
The touch works great.
But how can I rotate the screen from portrait to landscape?
Thanks
Ronnie

I’m guessing Volumio doesn’t have much of a X system installed. As xrandr doesn’t work.
Anyone know if installing the X system would break Volumio. I understand it is made to be a slim operating system in general. But I’d really like to be able to rotate the screen.
As long as it won’t break the system.
Thanks
Being it looks like Volumio operates on html and Java, I’m wondering if anyone knows where I might begin my search in the code to find a way to rotate the screen.
Is there a way to rotate the webUI?
Thanks.
Searching the forums produces display-rotation-raspberrypi-official-touchscreen-t10712.html.
Edit: ah sorry, didn’t read the Tinker Board bit. You might want to check on their forums, but as you say there is no underlying x-system to use commands from.
Yeah, the tinker board doesn’t have a config.txt file.
I’ve read all the Raspberry Pi fixes.
Thanks
I would think tweaking the webui system would be the easiest fix. (easiest being a relative term. )
That would be the volumio side of things. I can’t see how the Asus board could help me when the problem seems to be software.
Thanks
