Asus Tinker Board - How's it going?

The version of volumio is still not working properly with DSD and flac files for me. Not sure about others. It seem to be DAC of wadia is not working properly with the latest version but the old version it works well

I have now abandoned the Tinker board in favour of a Pi3 which works fine with my DAC. Its quite disappointing really. because as mentioned before the TB does see my DAC but just doesnt put it in the list on the playback options, it is in my novice opinion it has to be volumio, if someone at volumio would like to help I would like to get the TB working. I have posted details of my DAC on this thread before

Hi there,

I’m a newbie and just bought a Tinker Board S (with 16G eMMC onboard) for the purpose of playing audiophile music with Volumio. My power supply is 5V3A.

I formatted the eMMC and then flashed it with the Volumio for Tinker Board image using Etcher. Upon booting, the Volumio installation reaches the point of login and password. Then the screen shows the words below-

Linux Volumio 4.4.71+ #11 …etc
Volumio
Free Linus Audiophile Music Player - Version 2.0
etc…

volumio@volumio`$

Nothing happens after that.

Can anyone advise please.

volumio is headless. that means no GUI is shown at HDMI.
you have to reach the device via http. so try volumio.local via lan
or connect via volumios own hotspot. enjoy.
