Assistance with scrollbar usage on touch screen (sizing)

Hi All,
I would like to be able to increase the size of the scroll bars on the mini screen i have attached to my volumio setup. I have reviewed a number of threads here and other references in google and have seen some alternative solutions, but not sure what is ‘recommended’ so to say. I don’t really expect to be able to use a finger necessarily, but I have a pointer for the screen, and it is more for the times someone doesn’t have the app and wants to scroll through the music on the screen.

The environment: Raspberry Pi, Volumio3, 3.5 inch display(XPT2046 Touch Controller, 480x320), [Plugins]Touch display, Now Playing. All running smoothly for quite some time.

The issue - when I go to the Now Playing preview on my web browser, I can select the down arrow, go to the music selection screen and see icons for Favourites, Playlists etc… and can make out a scrollbar on the right hand side as I’d expect. When I do the same on the touchscreen, the scrollbar is so fine that it can’t be selected.

I would like to make the scrollbar much larger so I can use a finger etc.

I have seen comments in the thread on the Now Playing plugin, and others referring to some UI customisations and so on. At this stage I am unsure if I should be working on the Now Playing configuration (A Fantastic plugin BTW!) or hacking into css files inside the workings of volumio. It seems I am asking the opposite to some others who want to remove the scrollbars.

Apologies if too many words, feel free to point me to a thread, as I expect there is a definitive answer somewhere and I’ve missed it.
Many thanks,
