My music library of 57000 tracks is stored a Synology NAS. Volumio maps and loads it fine on my wireless RPi4.
When browsing albums via iPad, artwork seems very sluggish to load and appears to re-load every time I scroll past an album and then back to it (as if not being cached).
Should the artwork cache make fast scrolling my entire collection seamlessly smooth?
Does the original size of each folder.jpg make a difference to browsing performance? (or does the cache store the original file size and therefore my iPad must load hundreds of large size images when browsing?)
