Please help me and show me the solution to my problem.
I have an Argon One housing and I bought a remote control for it. I installed the remote control according to the instructions from the case and set the remote control in the Volumio options and it does not work. Is there any solution to this problem?

Did you already install the IR Controller plugin? It contains a configuration for the Argon remote.

The only thing I did was what the housing manufacturer wrote in its manual and I installed a plug-in for the remote control in volumio and set it as a remote control from Argon.
Please describe in more detail which steps from the manufacturer’s manual you have carried out.

I assume you followed the video’s instructions for PiOS. In case you ran “argonone-ir” I suggest to start with a fresh Volumio installation, to not execute “argonone-ir” but only install the IR Controller plugin from Volumio’s plugin store and select the Argon remote from the plugin’s config page.
Also make sure to select the correct GPIO pin for your IR receiver on the plugin’s config page.

The argon casing IR is connected to GPIO23.

If you load the IR Remote Controller, you can set the GPIO there or add it to /boot/userconfig.txt
IMHO opinion there is no need to modify “/boot/userconfig.txt” since you can simply set the GPIO on the plugin’s config page.
