Argon Industria HMI 10CS - 10" Touch Display + Enclosure for Pi 5

Recently acquired an Argon Industria HMI 10CS - 10" Touch Display + Enclosure for Pi 5 (8Gb)
Everything working fine, apart from touch screen.
Can anyone advise how to get working. Loaded Touch screen plugin, do I need to use the ‘Pi Screen Setup’ plugin.
Any pointers greatly appreciated as too many parameters for me to digest?

Assuming the USB port is connected for the touch functionality to work. HDMI only has video no touch.

Hi, yes the Pi screen setup plugin is always a good choice in conjunction with Pi screens :grin:

Hey @Monty,

Can you confirm that in fact you have reviewed manufacturer’s setup instructions and your /boot/userconfig.txt is already containing:

[all]
dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=host

as discussed here:

Spoke too soon
After reboot, no longer working?

Looking at the guide quoted, it says it is for Raspberry Pi OS (Bookworm, 64-bit).
Tried following the guide now volumio just keeps starting and looping with hourglass

Starting from scratch with re flashed card, think 'll forget the touch screen!

Hey @Monty,

From all steps, all you actually need is to update /boot/userconfig.txt file. Suggested sudo apt full-upgrade will break Volumio. Quite frankly, this forum already has plenty of posts explaining reasons behind it. I encourage you to use search.

Now - the important part, start either from factory reset, or fresh flash.Take notes of everything you do, each step, report back with complete history of steps and dev logs if something fails.

All working with reboot.
The ‘search’ is great if you actually know the correct terminology to get an answer?
Used it many times over the last few years of being a premium user, with mixed results as not that conversant with linux terminology - LoL!
