Hi all.

My setup - Pi 3B+, IQAudio digiamp+ (previous, not latest model), Usb Hard drive (own power supply). Oneplus 3 android phone with Volumio App.
Volumio V.2.565
Using hotspot to connect remote to Volumio player.
Everything was working fine for about 8 months. I have just updated my Android os to latest version yesterday. I am now having problems in that if I load a play list start play then it plays, but if I do not press the odd button, every min. or so ie track forward/back, vollume, pause/start etc, then the whole interface freezes, buttons don’t work, and track playing gets stuck although actual playing tracks advance.
Is there an updated version of the android app. that I should be using? If so would that solve the problems.

Hi again.

I have just uninstalled and re-installed the app. on my android phone. At the moment it is working OK again. I will see how it goes and report any further problems.

Hmmm. Still freezing some of the time.

Any ideas?

My first thought, whenever a RPi starts to behave poorly, is to use a new SD card. Formatting and re-imaging may help for a short while but I’ve always regretted not having a spare SD card…
